Volunteers

Parents,

There are many ways that you could be of assistance in the Library.  Listed below are a number oportunities, more could come up on a daily basis.  Please let me kno if you are able to give some of your valuable time.  Each month a calendar of volunteer schedule will be sent out.

Shelves: Do you like to file, then shelving might be for you! We need help shelving books and organizing the shelves.

At Home Projects: Are you crafty? We would love to have help making flannel boards, cutting, tracing items on the overhead, and assembling projects.

Bulletin Boards and Display Cases: This entails cutting out letters the items to create library themed boards and display cases.

Class Help: Would you like to help classes in the library? If your background check is clear, you can work with the students. We need help when completing special projects or when we have students doing research
projects.

Club Assistnat Leader:  There are a variety of clubs this year Readers Theatre and Book Clubs to start with.  An extra adult on hand is always helpful.

Bluebonnet Parties: This is a reading program for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. We can use help serving refreshments, passing out goodie bags, and completing crafts.

Library Desk Help: Want to check-in and check-out books? There are opportunities for help on the library front desk. If interested, a mini lesson on how to use the system will be arranged.

Thank you so much for your willingness to help in the Bledsoe Library.
